The Resistance - BSG Retheme Part 5.pdf (3.80 MB) (Log in or Register to download.)
A retheme of the game in full colour using the recent BSG series! Plot card text have been removed to prevent infringement. You can open this in GIMP or Photoshop and add in the text before printing.

Warning: This is designed to be ultra portable. The cards are roughly 56mm x 85mm. I used hot lamination pouch with the standard 2R size. It fits in a plastic box that's roughly half the size of the original. I literally carry it in my pocket always!

Due to file size limit, this will be a 5 part series. Please download them all.

I feel like the positive vote card should say, "So say we all!", and perhaps the negative could simply say, "Frak this!"

Awesome. I think that, Frak This, and one other slight change would be great. On the admiral card you could briefly mention that if the vote fails the new admiral doesn't get a plot card. Also that 5 failed votes in a row means a win for the cylons.

Can't wait for the updated vote cards!!

The vote card doesnt looks good just having the words "so say we all!" on it. May be I will have to change the colour or something. Will try to play around with it tomorrow. If nothing comes up I will just upload the simple version. May be someone else would have a better design idea

Oh - I just noticed (after printing everything) that the cards are much smaller than the real ones, and not a standard size. Was hoping to print, cut, and sleeve with the original equivalent cards. Any chance you'll be making a larger version? Is there a reason you made these smaller? You made the game board (last page of file 5) the perfect size to be sleeved - would prefer to have all the other cards in that size.

Let me know - otherwise I'll need to play around with blowing up the size percentage to find the right fit, but that could be a pain.

It's not standard size, it's meant to be 56mm x 85mm if i recalled correctly. I scaled it down so that it fits nicely in to these plastic boxes that I had for compact carrying.

Unless you really need to blow it up, i would advice keeping it at 100% setting. In my opinion, the reduced table space and portability is a big boon. fits in a box half the size of the original!

Anyway, Apologies to you for wasting your ink if that's not what you are expected. It slipped my mind to clarify this important point. Since you have already printed them, I really advise you to use it. I vastly prefer the portability to the original.

It just makes it very difficult for folks to really try and get into - most people want to print, cut, and sleeve. Up to you if you want to put the effort in, but I think you'll get a lot more people interested in this if it were more "accessible".

Just my two cents. It would be a shame to not have this awesome work put to wide use!

Looking to print this, I saw that the missions are different than my first edition:

My 5-player: 2-3-2-3-3
Your 5-player: 2-2-3-3-3

My 6-player: 2-3-4-3-4
Your 6-player: 2-3-3-4-4

Is this intentional (variant/updated rules), as I could not find anything in the forums.

Otherwise, looking good.
