This is a card template used to create the PG:FS Event Deck cards (ArtsCow project). Others can use it to make different cards, or redo the event deck cards into other languages. [pdn image file for Paint.NET or photoshop]

PG:FS is designed to reward those who do the math; the game can become predictable as everyone sits and does the calculations. For some, this is exactly how an economic game should be; for others, the game lacks the excitement and challenge that comes with a volatile element. The First Sparks: Event Deck (FS:EV) is designed for those who look for the aforementioned excitement and challenge. (And, clearly, is not for everyone.) FS:EV adds a deck of events cards, one taking effect each round, to upset the harmony and incorporate risk management and damage control decisions. FS:EV draws its inspiration from: Small World: Tales and Legends, Kingsburg: To Forge a Realm, and Settlers of Catan: Event Cards. It is designed to be customizable to fit the tastes of individual players. (This fan-project - a labour of love to share with the wider fan community -- NOT a for-profit enterprise.)
