A log sheet to manage all of a platform's contacts, I use one per ship in addition to the Tactical Log for movement.
Pretty simple to use: Each has a block for: Desgnation (name of contact), Contact Source (S- Sonar, R- Radar, ESM), Classification (Foxtrot Class SS, for example), TMA (the quality of your firing solution on the contact if any), [Game time] Acquired and Lost, and Any other notes/modifiers.
