This file contains a "colorful" Battleboard for Columbia Games' "War of 1812." The battleboard is based on version 3.0 rules and contains embedded "rule aids" within the battleboard itself.

Version 1.1 of the file. Updated to add a couple of minor rules missing from v1.0 (dragoons retreat two spaces, militia rule inapplicable to amphibious movement), but still kept it to one page. Please let me know if you see anything missing or wrong.

I prepared this for my own use, but thought it might be helpful to others. It includes the rules from the 2000 errata, but not the optional Simultaneous Move rules. If you see errors or omissions, let me know.

I simplified player aide with some reminders of the basic gameplay.

Columbia games recently released the third edition of their game War of 1812, and at the same time removed the rules for the second edition from their web page. I am posting the 2nd edition rules here for archival purposes. Special thanks to Grant @ CG for sending me this file and giving permission to post.
