These are some leader rules and random events I made for the Victory Games classic.

Unofficial Rules Revision (updated 4/22/2011). Provides clarifications for ambiguous items, and fixes for problems with the original design. Adds a number of new optional rules.

Variants from many years ago, later posted on Web Grognards. Political Generals variant is notable.

Created new counter templates, per Additional Leaders Variant rules, with pictures of the various additional leaders. Used as a starting point the wonderful work available here: http://www.thewargamer/grognard/cwbgunits.pdf A true labor of love. NB: seniority levels are arbitrary, except for the ones specifically indicated on the Variant's rules. Of course, information on templates can be easily modified, for one's own use.

This is an altered version of a file Robert Sweeney (LimboLance) uploaded. I had to make this one so that people who play by the standard rules could use it. I added the game turn that each leader becomes available. All of it to make it more readable or informative. Included in the excel workbook are 4 more worksheets: 2 listing the USA and CSA leaders by their seniority at each star-rank; and 2 listing the entry of leaders by each game turn.

Keep track of all Rail use and union sea-lift use on one page (don't have to use the sea lift marker). Lists the capacities and limits for each game turn for both union and confederates.

Just two useful things to print out, especially for an opponent who doesn't know the rule book as well as you. CSA Production and Import spreadsheet. Lists all VP cities and sites by state with their value and the states' total (conversion) value. PORTS are on second worksheet in the workbook.

For 9/83 version of the rules. Lists ambiguous, unclear and commonly misunderstood rules with clarifications and interpretations drawn from a variety of public sources (eg. forum discussions) All of these are incorporated in the WGA Unofficial 3rd Edition Rules for VG The Civil War.
