My Zung Jung (version 3.3) reference card that I use when I teach and play. Prints four-up, double sided, on a US letter-sized page. The front has all the scoring patterns, renamed to be a little more descriptive, with their point values. The back details rules such as scoring, the dead wall, passing the deal, and payment.

A summary of calls usable to most versions of Mahjong, as well as a scoring summary (used for Japanese Classical MJ), and a quick list of tiles for people whose sets don't have any Western characters on them.

When we decide to get really down, here is our cheat sheet for Chinese International Style Mahjong, with all 81 hands. It is on a convenient 8 1/2" x 11" double-sided sheet that can be folded and kept during the game for reference. The hands are ordered by type. This has been our standard of play in our Mahjong League for the past three years.

My friends and I play Hong Kong Old Style with some variants added from HK New Style. This is a cheat sheet that we use to keep track of the hands. HKOS is one of the most widely played Mahjong variants. A Print & Cut-Out Mahjong Deck. This is a tutor deck intended as a teaching aid to new players. Each card contains illustrations for a standard tile and the concealed and exposed values for various sets that each card could be used in. This is a .PDF file of the previous version. Pages are 8.5 x 11 with borders set to 0 for a to scale printout of 'standard' playing sized cards. This is a single set, you must print it out 4 times to create a complete set.

Chinese scoring values on stickers to put on poker chips or similar sized disk (1.5"). I included enough for 2000 points per player in the quantities given on sloperama (2x500, 9x100, 8x10, 10x2) plus an extra or two of each denomination. Print onto full or half-sheet sticker paper, laminate (if you want more durability) and punch out with a 1.25" circle punch (or cut out with scissors). There are 4 sheets so you can put them back to back through a 2-sided cold laminator without wasting any laminate.

The spreadsheet will calculate what each position owes/receives from the other three positions and also nets the total gain/loss for the hand. Ver. 1.0

This is a scoring aid for Zung Jung Mah Jong v3.2. It includes a few key rules, but is primarily a single-page scoring sheet.

This is a comprehensive player aid for HKOS Mah Jong, including set up, game play, and scoring. It also includes character translations for those using Chinese sets (like me!). It's a 2 page aid which has everything you need to begin playing Mah Jong. HKOS is the SIMPLEST rule set in my opinion, and the best introduction to the game. Note: I included "All Terminals and Honors" as 1 Fan, which some sources do, but this is actually a pretty tough hand so feel free to make it worth more. Mah Jong is a pretty flexible game, so go crazy on house rules if you like - my Fan list is by no means definitive, please add and subtract to it to your delight.

I wanted a pretty complete summary of rules and scoring that I could hand out to new players for Mah-Jongg, so I decided to make one myself. The rules used in the player aid are for chinese classical style and have been condensed from the information available at the Four Winds Knowledge base. It is a full two pages, but prints nicely at 2-up (front and back)--making an approx. 4x6" 2-sided player aid.
