This is a starmap made from a royalty-free NASA image of the Bug Nebula. I added in some other NASA images from real asteroids to create terrain obstacles. Beats the heck out of the crappy Wizards of the Coast map that comes in starters, anyhow. 80 dpi, 24x36, 2" squares.

These include rules for asteroids and moons, fighter recovery and repair, close range combat between capital ships and many others. * Command Card & Force Rules - These rules add a layer of surprise to the game by introducing a deck of command cards which are kept secret from the other player. Print double sided and cut out and you get two sets of: Fighter Base (Large) Fighter Base (Small) Planetary Defense Cannon These Unit Cards do not have corresponding miniatures on the Star Grid, but can take damage or attack just like any other unit. All rules needed are printed on the cards themselves as special abilities. They are fully compatible and balanced with the official ruleset and should work with just about any variation that uses original cards as well. Range variation rules may want to place tokens on the map to represent these installation's positions.
