EiA Gamebox Catalan Way
|
eia_v2.06.gbx 1.45 MB
My own Empires Gamebox. Map is translated to Spanish. The gamebox has several improvements over the ones existing :
- the corps displays are integrated in the gamebox
- The map is errata free (the famous forage value of Viena error)
- Two holding boxes created for troops in Malta and Gibraltar.
- The garrison markers are treated as markers and thus are infinite. Each minor has his own markers.

1796 Campaign, version 3 (Feb 5, 2011) PDF for EiA
|
1796 version 3 (2010).pdf 111 KB
1796 Campaign variant for AH Empires in Arms, version 3 (Feb 5, 2011), format: PDF, by Warren K. Bruhn, unofficial user created variant, nothing to do with Avalon Hill or ADG.
Starts in April 1796, with Bonaparte now in command of the French Army of Italy, about to start his rise to power. Austria is very strong, and is the only continental power left at war with France. The variant is supposed to cover the entire period from April 1796 until December 1815, but can be stopped earlier with a percentage of VP target computation to determine a winner or winners. This version of the variant uses only those leader counters which came in the original game and in the 1792 variant published in the General magazine.
Unlike the 1792 campaign variant, there is no guillotine, no agricultural disruption, and no foraging problem, but France is not yet dominant. A lot of stuff has been stripped out since versions 1 & 2 were published. Now there is a more rational way for France to gain dominant land power status. There is a mass of optional rules which may be ignored. This version probably isn't perfect, but it is hopefully good enough now for somebody to playtest the variant. Looking forward to some feedback from readers and users of the variant.

Small counters for EiA on magnetic strip
|
Counter klein_mit Schnittmarken.pdf 194 KB
Well, I did the same, using 2/3" magnetic strip for large counters and 1/2" strip for small ones. These are the large ones. There's quite a bit of surplus - use as many as you see fit. Take care to print using at least 600dpi (1200 is better).

EIA Counter Faces for 1/2" Magnets

EIA Counter Faces for magnets.doc 664 KB
The attached Word file has EIA Control markers and troop faces to be placed on 1/2" magnetic sticky tape. I bought my tape from Walmart for a couple of bucks and created these faces to the sticky side of the magnet. I use a sheet of galvanized steel under my EIA map and these new counters stick nicely to the map! I suggest buying the out of print "Shield Laminating" 5/8" C Channel magnets for the actual Corp counters, but you could make similar ones in Word.
