First I played the game, a lot. Then I rewrote a few small parts of the rules as I was unhappy with a lot of things that didn't make sens to me: the use of Warships and KCs was unclear, notoriety rewards unbalanced, and the ransoms of hostages, useless, especially. Then only I made this aid. All pirate and anti-pirate actions are summarized and detailed on this aid, using my reviewed rules, so it's much more easier for players to remember their options. You still need to consult the game tables to determine cargos, and other events though. Enjoy.

The Universal Head BLACKBEARD Rules Reference v1 (July 08). Double-sided rules summary, double-sided play summary and card reference sheet, and single-sided turn order summary cards. Also three ship cards (by ship type) designed for use with a fine-nibbed overhead projector marker that do away with the Port Grid and a large number of counters in the game!

Make sure you have your word processor set to print background images, and print two-sided so that the text is oriented oppositely on each side. This way, you can have the text right-side up when the box is opened and closed.
