A template for my homemade Hive. Includes a smaller version (pocket size). Includes: Mosquito, Ladybug and Dragonfly expansions. I printed this on regular paper and laminated it. Then I cut the hexes out and glued them onto a piece of PVC flooring. Then I cut the hexes out again (both with a cutter knife). This gives nice thick but light tiles. When a friend got the Carbon version, I noticed it came with rules that fit in the bag. I wanted some for quick reference but also kind of thematic, so I created this with content and images borrowed from the original rules and from http://www.gen42.com/hive. There are pictures of this in the BGG Hive photos area. Print to opposite sides of cardstock (don't mess with scaling...the registration should be good) and rotate the page 180 degrees before printing the second side. Fold along the lines on the inside, then cut to the corner guidelines on the front cover. Laminate if you don't like dirt or fingerprints, and enjoy! HIVE FLEETS is a Star Wars themed variant and expansion for Hive, featuring both the original game's expansion tiles as well as six new, thematical units, three different tilesets and rules for a three-player game. Thanks to Kharn for his original idea and upload of the basic Star Wars tiles.

A Hive piece set themed after norse myth: The World Tree as Queen Bee, the Fenris Wolf as spiders,Thor's hammer as the scarab, the serpent Nidhogg as soldier ants, Sleipnir as the cricket, Loki as the mosquito, Odin as the dragonfly, and Ratatosk as the ladybug. The movement signs weren't made by me, they're taken from another piece set.

The HIVE dragonfly is an unofficial expansion for HIVE. The dragonfly has a tricky movement and the ability to transport other beetles under special circumstances! It can also be played together with the mosquito. Creating your dragonfly sticker: Print the sheet out and cut away the section with the dragonfly hex-tile graphics. Put a transparent self-adhesive foil on the frontside of the graphics and a double sided self-adhesive foil on the back of the sheet. Then cut the shapes out and fix them on your tiles. I recommend to fix them on the back of a second set of mosquitos. Attention: The bakelit tiles have round shaped edges on which you can`t fix the stickers properly, so you have to make the stickers smaller than the maximum size of the bakelit tile. You have to cut away 1mm-2mm on each side from the graphics. Another possibility is to print the file out in a size of about 90%. Hope you will enjoy that additional HIVE piece! [ImageID=490420]
