Long Ball Chart Variant for Super Advanced rules
|
Long Ball Chart Variant 1 table.pdf 12 KB
Robs of home runs or any other hit are now possible (See Super Advanced rules). Long Balls in play now go to specific parts of the ball park (LF/RF, CF. Power Alleys), so pitchers can now be more pitch specific to help prevent taters, and fewer triples will be hit as based upon the batter's speed rating.

1984 Chicago Cubs.doc 126 KB
For the I-94 world series that should have been in 1984 except those darn Pods won 3 straight after dropping the first 2 to the beloved Cubbies. They broke my wish for that fall...to watch the 2 best teams in baseball that year in the WS. The Pods didn't have a chance against the Tigers that year. The Cubs would have given the Tigers a real dog fight and run for their money, but alas, it didn't come to be. I keep wanting to believe that that WS would have been an historical classic. I have always felt since then that the Tigers never faced the best, therfore, that makes it challenging to call them the best that year.

1960worldseries.doc 106 KB
Players from the 1960 world series: The NY Yankees and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Yogi, Mickey, Ford, Maris, Richardson, Kubek, Clemente, Mazerowski, Smokey Burgess, Vern Law, Roy Face, and many other all stars of this era and series.
Mantle said that losing this series was the biggest disappointment of his career. The Yankees won lopsided games and the Pirates won the close ones, closing out the series with Mazerowski's famous walk-off series winning home run at home, hit over Yogi's head. The Yankees were stunned.
