ASL conversion guidelines

ASL to SASL conversion guidelines.pdf 49 KB
My home-brewed guidelines for using SASL with regular scenarios. Based on the 1st edition, and requiring a fair amount of fudging by the player, no doubt.

Extra Random Events + quick artillery fix
|
Random Event tables.doc 57 KB
I find the Random Events one of the best features of SASL, depicting the unpredictability of small unit firefights.
The document contains extra RE's that I use whenever the RE direroll is one higher than stipulated by the mission. (If mission stipulates RE DR 2-3, these are used on a DR 4)
Furthermore I find the OBA is ungainly so have speeded up the use by aquick and dirty solution described on the last page here.

SASL Novice Guide
|
SASL Novice Guide 1.1.zip 624 KB
This is a simply SASL novice guide kind of from ASLSK player perspective. It's a work in progress guide how to get started with SASL. At this point just the scenario setup and enemy and friendly units setup. Future updates will add replay of a single turn. The second section of the document was written by Paul Williams
