This is a variant of the boardgame El Grande and is based on 12th century Europe, where the 9 most important countries fight and struggle for supremacy. There are nine countries in which they are battling: Frankreich, Aragon, Franken, Bayern, Burgund, Italien, Lothringen, England, and Swaben.

I re-wrote all 45 action cards in my own words, to (hopefully) make the wording clearer. These are suitable for converting German cards to English. I printed mine on sticky labels (each sheet was A4 and had 4 large labels). You may need to muck around with the formatting if your labels are different. Alternatively, print on paper and glue/tape them to cards. It took me over 6 hours to make this file and convert my set, so any tips are appreciated.
