Elfenland is a redesign of the original White Wind edition of the game Elfenroads. The game is set in the mythical world of the elves. A group of fledgling elves (the players) are charged with visiting as many of the twenty Elfencities as they can over a short period of time. To accomplish the task they will use various forms of transportation such as Pigs, Elfbikes, Magic Clouds, Trollwagons, and Dragons.
Each turn, each player gets a number of cards and a number of tokens, each matching forms of transportation. The players first then take turns placing transportation tokens on roads (thereby defining what form of transportation is the only one that can be used on that particular road this turn), and finally playing their cards trying to move according to the tokens on the road to collect as many cities each turn as possible.
Players need both to try to make a usable token path for themselves, while trying to stop other players from getting where they want.
