Maven is a quick word game that doesn't keep you waiting as your opponents think. Players take turns saying a letter and everyone writes that letter onto their own grid. After the grids are full, they are scored - longer words reaping points.
Maven originated in Argentina and was introduced to North America by Dr. Marcelo Epstein, an Engineering professor at the University of Calgary.
