This player aid is intended to replace a large number of the markers used in the game. Requires some construction. Mount both the player mat and the arrows on heavy stock of cardboard. Laminate the mat with self-adhesive laminate. Cut out the arrows, poke holes in arrows and mat and attack with decorative brads. Secure brads on back with heavy tape.

Merchant Variant – During Setup instead of creating a single Market Deck divide the Market Cards by card type in to 4 Merchant Decks. Whenever required to draw from the Market Deck use a d10 to select a Merchant Deck as follows - 1: Armourer (Armour Cards), 2-3: Weaponsmith (Weapon Cards), 4-5: Magic Shoppe (Artifact & Rune Cards), 6-7-8: Tavern (Ally Cards), 9-10: Roll Again (Player’s Choice during the Market Step) Market Step: In addition to visiting the normal Town Market a player may also choose to visit one of the 4 Merchants and looks at the top 3 cards of the appropriate Merchant Deck. A player may buy items and hire allies from both the Town Market stack and the 3 cards revealed from the selected Merchant. Any items or allies sold by the player are added to the Town Market stack. Any of the 3 revealed cards not purchased get shuffled back in to the appropriate Merchant Deck. Random Draw: During the game whenever any player is required to draw a card from the Market Deck he rolls a d10 to select a Merchant Deck instead – a roll of 9 or 10 is “Roll Again”.

Running out of experience markers? Annoyed by all the space they take up? Print these +4 markers out on sticker paper, cut, peel, and stick them to one side of each marker. Now when you advance a level you can just flip a +2 marker to its +4 side.

Too many chits in your Runebound game? Use these Character Boards. Printed on 8.5x11" 80# cardstock and laminated. Used Making Memories' Crystal Brads and spray painted clock hands for the pointers. Removes ALL chits from the game except a small handful of wound/fatigue for general use on challenges. Also replaced XP counters with beads. Now we can play outdoors!
