From the creators of Confrontation and Hybrid, AT-43 is a science-fiction tactical wargame with prepainted miniatures. Each player commands a number of infantry units, combat striders and specialized forces. Games are mission driven, often with unique victory conditions. There are currently four factions available, with other factions coming soon.
AT-43 Initiation Set: Operation Damocles
The Initiation Set box is both a complete game for 2 players and an introduction to the rules of AT-43. The White Stars forces face, over several missions, the terrifying Therian aliens on one of their Factory-planets. These scenarios allow you to get acquainted with the basics of the game in a simplified form at first, and then step by step into strategic depth. The box contains all the necessary material for two players to play the six missions of the handbook.
Contents of the box:
- 160 page full color Rules handbook in 5 languages (English, Spanish, German, Italian and French), with dozens of photos and illustrations;
- 19 plastic miniatures, assembled and painted (17 foot soldiers and 2 Combat Striders);
- 1 map (illustrated on both sides);
- Terrain elements: 2 generators, 6 low wall sections, 1 container;
- Game material: 6 Rackham d6, 1 AT-43 ribbon ruler, and 9 AT-43 reference cards.
AT-43 Advanced Rules Book
The AT-43 advanced rules book expands upon the rules presented in the Initiation Set. Notably, they allow the use of new miniatures such as artillery, tanks and other vehicles as well as specialist infantry, officers and heroes. The AT-43 universe is also explained in depth, from history previous to the conflict, until its current development, by way of detailed descriptions of the major powers. Although much detail is given to the Therians, UNA and Red Blok factions the Gorilla-like Karmans are only lightly covered.
Units and Attachment Boxes
Armies can be expanded by the purchase of additional Unit boxes. For specialized units, Attachment boxes include heavy weapons, medics and officers.
