Description

[Edit] [History]

The Dragonball Ball Z CCG was created by Score.

All character's start the game with one character in play, with three to five versions of the card. The decks are divided into five different styles: Blue, Red, Orange, Black and Saiyan. Eventually a sixth style, Namekian was released. If you used nothing but one color in your deck, you would gain certain abilities. Later expansions allowed you to play Mastery cards that allowed abilities that always stayed in play. Also, another card, Senseis were added. This allowed a sideboard to be exchanged after you discovered the color of the deck and mastery.

There was three ways to fin the game: 1) Reduce your opponent's deck to 0 cards, 2) Gain your highest form, but only if your enemy has none higher or equal, 3) Play all seven dragonballs.

It uses a mechanic that divides the attacks the cards can use into two catergories, Physical and Energy. Physical attack reduce a character's power level. Energy attacks reduces the foe's Life Deck directly but also costs the character Power Levels. Certain cards allowed your anger to be raised.
