Okko is a miniature game that is played on a board with squares. It simulates skirmishes between Samurai and other typical Japanese characters (Ninjas, Geishas !!!) in medieval Japan. Each player controls from 3 to 5 characters)
Like Heroscape, Okko will be released as basis boxes (2 are planned for the first release in September '07) containing the rules, a game board and two miniatures. Other miniatures can be bought apart from those basis boxes, not in a booster way : you choose the miniatures you buy.
Okko is inspired from a comic published by "Les Editions Delcourt" (French), "Archaia Studios Press" (English) and "Silvester Strips" (Dutch)
