Description

[Edit] [History]

Harry Wu's Wabash Cannonball is an innovative new boardgame with no luck factor and is the first game in the Historic Railroads System.

The B&O, C&O, Pennsylvania and New York Central railroads drive from the East Coast across the growing eastern US to Chicago. Smaller, more aggressive railroads like the Wabash spring up to further expand America's extensive railroads. The sharpest railroad executives vie for the maximum return on their investment in this business game lasting about one hour. This game can be played by 2-6 players, but it is best with 3 or 4 players. The recommended age is 29 and up.

4 Dividends Per Share Chart
DividendsPerShareChart.pdf
This chart is an expansion of the Railroad Income Chart which lets you easily track the payouts for each share and not have to remember whether to round up or round down. Each column is income level, and each row is dividend per number of outstanding shares. When a new share is capitalized, just move the railroad’s cube up one row and it will be sitting on the minimum bid amount (which is the dividend amount). The red squares are a reminder that you must subtract one from the dividend for a Chicago Dividend. Green squares always pay the listed value whether General or Chicago. Print on cardstock, cut to fit, join the two pieces together, and optionally laminate it.
4 Wabash Railroad Charters
Wabash Railroad Charters.pdf
Mats for the five railroads to store their stock certificates, treasury, and track cubes. Notes are added to each showing the starting auction order, initial income, number of shares, and number of track cubes. The stock section is sized to fit Isaac Bickerstaff's excellent stock shares ( see http://www.boardgamegeek.com/file/info/29871 ). Print on cardstock, laminate, and cut along guide lines.
12 Wabash Cannonball Stock Certificates
Wabash Cannonball Stock Certificates.pdf
Larger (2.5 x 3.5 inches), more thematic stock certificates for use in the game. I borrowed some images of real stock certificates from the companies and tinted them to match the colors of the cubes in the game.
