Thread: User Review

I was given this as a Christmas present by my parents. I was sceptical about playing and nervously enlisted the first players (or should I say victims?).

It couldn't be more easy to explain the rules. There are four handles and you select a number of players by repeated presses of a button on the side. Each player grips the handle in their hand with their thumb on the button at the top and then you start the game off by pressing the central button.

The button then lights up red and a siren wails. As soon as the siren stops and the light turns to green all players press the button on their handle with the aim of not being the last to press. The last player gets an electric shock.

If I was worried prior to playing it then I was even more worried after the first game. I didn't get the shock but was alarmed by the reaction of the person that did!

I persevered with it though and my first shock was exactly that. The game didn't get played much after that - until I took the thing to work and took great pleasure from not fully explaining what the penalty for coming last was.

The shock isn't really that bad - but it does leave a tingling in your fingers for a minute or so after a few games.

If you can find one cheap enough, it's good for a laugh or to get a party going.
