I received a Dicey Business (Columbia's email newsletter) on 7/4/08 and here is what they say:

"Texas Glory is coming this month. Tom and I played a great game last night which ended with a Texan win and Santa Anna killed at Bastrop along with his flying column of cavalry. Each playtest game lately has been a great deal of fun and there are very few issues remaining for this game to go to print. Expect news and more updates soon.

Preorder deadline for Texas Glory is July 7th."

They are also offering 25% off on Liberty through July 7th, but that's another thread ;)

I'm going from memory here, but I'm pretty sure they bill when the game goes to the printer.

Does Columbia bill when they ship, or when it goes to the printer? I know different companies have different ways of charging pre-orders.

I have it on pre-order and got an email mid-May saying my cc would be billed early June. But I don't think it actually has been yet.

Does anyone know when this comes out? It looks pretty interesting and it might make for a good introductory block wargame.
