Ooh, good question. I had problems like this when I got started with doing card expansions.

Regarding the size, make sure that you're printing the images out at 100% resolution. I made the mistake of copying and pasting some images designed to be printed on 11x17 paper into a standard sheet of paper in Word, and the program shrank the image down to the point of it being too small to work with. Right click and check the size of the image; if it's not at 100%, you'll have to play around with resizing and cropping the images.

For this expansion, cardstock should work just fine. You shouldn't have to worry about the backs, since these cards aren't shuffled in to the standard deck. I think I may have even stuck the printouts down on to mat board and cut them out that way, since it's a separate deck.

Thread: Any tips for a novice DIYer?

I'm having trouble getting the card images to print out card sized. They either come out way too big or way too small. Any tips on how I can go about getting them the right size?

Also, I was just going to print them out on cardstock. Is that how most everyone else has done it? Are there any other suggested printing methods?

Going by memory here, but I think...
Die Extrakarten back have the same pattern as the Rio Grande edition, but are a different colour
(Rio Grande main game has grey backs and die Extrakerten are pale green).

I have the Amigo version of Coloretto and I think the backs are ugly. I got the expansion and it has a cool back with Coloretto written on it a couple times. Does the Rio Grande version have this same backing?
