i didnt like this pack too much. monsters too strong and just too much fighting. gets too repetaive. i did like the solo quests. they brought back the spirit of the original quests

To replace the Elven Swordsmen I am using Dark Elf Black Guard from GW.

To replace the Elven Bowmen I am using plastic GW High Elves with Bows painted to match the black guard (not quite finished yet).
I should probably note that these miniatures are also out of print.
Finding elves with bows shouldn't be too much of a challenge although GW Dark Elves would probably work the best.

Those of us who would like to play this very rare and out of print quest pack find ourselves needing to find replacement minis.

The miniature is from Reaper miniatures and the code is 2830, you get three wolves in the blister pack. I'm also using a base from Litko Aerosystems.

Following up on people's votes for best Quest in the main game (Thread Here), here is the list for the Elf Quest pack. We only played through this one once, and then half way a time after that...

Quest 1 - (Solo) The Avenger Returns
Quest 2 - (Solo) On Sacred Ground
Quest 3 - (Solo) Terellia's Maze
Quest 4 - The Elven Prospector
Quest 5 - The Alchemist's Laboratory
Quest 6 - Tormuk's Guests
Quest 7 - Gliness Fen
Quest 8 - The Gathering Storm
Quest 9/10 - Hidden Realms

Taking the prospector with you through Quest 5 was a good idea, and when we played it the second time we gave him some movement dice and some Body Points so that players could move him like another unit (instead of the player just holding a tile which was silly).

However, my vote still goes for Quest 9/10 where the Heroes encounter Sinestra. It may have been the build-up, but we played the Elf Quest pack last, after ALL others, so this was essentially the final battle for the Heroes in our HQ universe. The big tile floor and the wall piece that went with it really sold the scene for the final battle. I remember this being a really tough two-parter.... in part because of the 10 Body Point Ogres.

Looking at Quests 9 and 10, here's the breakdown:
Oges x8 (10 BP)
Wolves x8 (5 BP)
Chaos Warriors x14 (3 BP)
+ hordes of other monsters

And then of course there's Sinestra who I recall for certain managed to summon more Wolves to aid him before the Heroes pummeled him next turn, killing him with Spells and Crossbows. Ah... good times.

I ordered this, but then had my money returned to me with the information that it had been discontinued.

(Sorry for the completely unhelpful reply. I was just surprised to see a comment about the Elf Quest Pack on the front page.)

I think that the elf and barb packs are really great. I am kicking myself now that i dident get one years ago. Thanks to whoever put up those pdf files those where a life saver. all the packs add to the game really great. The elf one in particular is very characterful.
