Thread: Re: More rules questions (including solitaire)

I can answer the first one off the top of my head, but the other two would require me digging up the rules....

In your example, you assign the 3rd strike on one of the characters, who (I believe), gets an additional -1 to their prowess. Ultimately, each character faces one strike, but an excess strike penalizes a character with an assigned strike further.

If you defeat both strikes (in your example), you score marshalling points for facing the hazard. If either strike is successful or ineffectual, you just discard the hazard....

Thread: More rules questions (including solitaire)

I am trying again to learn the game by trying the solitaire rules. I think i undestand the (basic) rules but there are a number of things i am not quite sure about yet:

1) Combat question: Let say my company has a size of two and faces two attacks with 3 strikes each. If i got it right, i assign the first two strikes of the first attack to the two members of the company with a -2 penalty on the prowess of each character for the unassigned strikes. If both characters defeat the strikes, do i get marshalling points for either hazards, just for the first, or for none?

2) Solitaire question: My company travels to a site but decides to not face the automatic attack since all of the characters are tapped. Does the (imaginary) opponent draw any more cards in the next round? Or do i just untap the characters, face the automatic attacks and play any item i can?

3) Solitaire question: In the end of each round does the (imaginary) opponent discards all the cards in his hand, keeps in his hand only 5 cards, or keeps all his cards?

Thanks!
