As is, Target is a bit of a drag, especially two-player. Adding two face-up drawable cards, a la Ticket to Ride, makes for a much livelier game. Just as in TtR, when a player draws a face up card, he immediately turns a replacement card face up from the deck.

Played in this way, the possible strategic choices multiply, and in at least the two-player game, almost all the target cards become exhausted by the end of the game.

It doesn't seem to say in the rules, other than stating that you don't discard when you meld, but can you lay down 6 cards to get more than one meld? for example, Can you have 3,4,5,6 of a 4 card meld (different suits) and add 2 more of one suit to get the flush card and the straight card including a 4?
