Thread: Daiso's Shogi piece set with English shogi rules seems available to buy in 21 countires.

I found the following photo of the package of a set of shogi pieces posted by Keng Ho.

http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/348085?size=large

What attracted me is that some English phrases and some other language words are printed on the package. After contacted him, he replied that it was bought in a Daiso shop in Singapore and a set of English shogi rules was inside the package.

Here is the link to the overseas store information about Daiso whose headquarter is located in Japan. It has stores in 21 countries other than Japan such as USA, Canada, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Macao, Thailand, Indonesia, New Caledonia, U.A.E., Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Romania, Mauritius, Vietnam and Malaysia. If you are interested in more details like store's address, please visit the following page;

http://www.daiso-sangyo.co.jp/english/storeinfo/storeinfo03.html

Hope this information will be of help to some of you to get a set of shogi pieces.
