Thank you, this worked. Tim McCarron also emailed to say that he was close to posting the fix to this as soon as new version of Vassal came out of beta.

From the module designer:

You must rename the 'Combat Commander for Mac-Linux.sh' file to 'cc.sh' (no
quotes). This should fix the launch problem, however if your text editor pops up instead of starting the mod, go to "Terminal" and type in 'sh cc.sh' to make it run

And I can add:

You must do this in the Terminal after renaming the file.

1. Type cd
2. Drag your CC Vassal Module folder to the terminal. It should read: "cd /Users/xxx/Combat Commander module/"
3. Press Enter
4. Type sh cc.sh

I read that this doesn't work for Mac and I still can't open it. Has this never been fixed?
