That's funny. I think my copy is also missing a lifeboat. Though I think I am also missing something else, a green food or water. So, you're better off than some folks, I guess.

My copy of this game is missing a single lifeboat. I know it's not strictly neccessary to play, but was wondering if anyone out there had a spare piece. If so, I'd be willing to cover shipping expenses. Thank you.

I placed my variant in the file section. It is called "Hero of the Titanic". It changes a few minor things in the first part of the game, and a lot of things in the second part of the game. All you need to play is the original game with rules, a deck of 52 standard playing cards and the pdf file. I would love to hear what people think about it.

I was just trying to come up with a different sea movement,
very VERY unusual and different sea and land cards...sort of mini games in themselves, the cards.

I just can't figure something that is nice and neat and works well.

I agree 110%.
My first thoughts for such a thing were to cost you a food, water, or passenger each turn, and then you won by getting the most passengers to the rescue ship. Still broken, but has some ideas.

I actually played this recently -- my "1st half" consisted of a first move to a risky spot, and I was dumped in the water right away. I still almost managed to win, thanks to the wacky card draws at sea.

Someone needs to make a nice fun variant for the 2nd half of this game, after the ship sinks and before you are rescued. New cards, new rules, the entire shebang. I've tried but failed.

If we got a really good game for the 2nd half of this game, this game, combined with the fun 1st half, COULD REALLY BE A CLASSIC!

The game is divided into two parts - the sinking ship part and the floating around the islands part. The first is alot of fun, the second is tedious. There needs to be a way rework this game to emphasize the fun stuff...
