Q: What are the prerequisites for Fast Climber? Are they Ailerons and either Welded Steel or Streamlining, as the card for Fast Climber indicates? Or are they Ailerons and Welded Steel and Streamlining as the player map seems to indicate?

Hi Mike,

1. The Spy action only lets you place a Technology marker (assuming success). You must use a subsequent Design action to actually take advantage of the new tech.

2. Canceling a Design action just negates the dieroll for new Effectiveness; any technologies played (even as part of that Design action) remain in play.

I'll incorporate these clarifications into the rule book.

1. When acquiring technology through a Spy Action, do you have to spend a subsequent Design Action to re-roll for Effectiveness?

2. Does cancelling a Design Action negate the placement of technology counters or the Effectiveness roll or the entire action (both parts)?
