You might try emailing them.
I fired off an email on saturday and they replied on Sunday (not even 24 hours had elapsed), and not only had they replied, but they fixed it too! Amazing.

http://homepage.mac.com/studio9inc/FileSharing20.html

Anyway, both the errata for the original game (which is on the expansion rules), and the tournament score sheets are up and availible for download on the offical site now.

Thread: Score cards?

Within the rules for the Expanded Realms it mentions score cards to use for tournament games available at www.treasuresandtraps.com. I might be missing something, but I don't see them. Anyone else have better luck?

Thread: Re: Brief Musings on this small but perfectly formed supplement

Our group has used all the class cards. While you can potentially win with any of them, we found the following:

Priest and Witchdoctor: (somewhat the wizard and rogue) Rely on specific cards coming out to be effective.

Hunter, Knight and Warlord: (rogue somewhat) Rely on exit roles and creatures for wins

Warlock, and Blacksmith: Rely on entry roles for the win

Adventurer: Mixed bag jack of all trades...good vs. places. I like this one the best. Not certain if the win % is higher with this one. But seems fairly powerful.

The Wizard, Rogue, and Priest: These also rely on actions that are somewhat far fetched or consuming. For example using actions to get creatures and companions, using an action for a power attack, or using actions to attack items. All these are extraordinary circumastances--making their usefulness rare, but powerful.

Priest, Knight, and adventurer: These 3 have some defensive capabilities

Overall, we love the class cards too.

Thread: Brief Musings on this small but perfectly formed supplement

So what do you get for your cash? (£3.99 rrp in the UK)

courtesy of mrbeankc

The above picture is of the box for 'Treasures & Traps' as the supplement is sadly lacking any uploaded images as yet (my camera is rubbish)

EDIT: I have now uploaded some card images.

Well you get 12 additional cards to add to the 100 you received in the original game plus 5 'Class Cards' depicting various characters. Oh and you also get a small piece of paper that explains the ways that you can use the 'Class Cards' and has a number of rulings for cards from the base set.

Lets look at the 'Class Cards'

As I mentioned you get 5 of these but wait, they are all double sided for a total of 10 different characters You either select or randomly pick a character card before play starts. These cards sit in front of the players and cannot be moved, targeted or affected in any way once the gane begins. These cards typically modify entry/exit rolls or give you a new type of action:

for example, the PRIEST allows cards in your realm +1 to their exit number. You can also use 1 action to return a 'companion' or 'creature' from the discard pile to your hand.

Another character, the ROGUE gives you +1 on all exit rolls. Also, if your die roll on an ITEM is 3 more than the exit number then you can choose to keep the ITEM rather than put it in the discard pile - nice ability IMHO

These character cards add an extra element to the game giving different abilities to the players. I have not yet had enough play with them to judge on their relative strengths and weaknesses. Nor whether as a family we will be using them each time we play or from time to time.

I mentioned earlier on that the supplement also included 12 additional cards to add to the base set. These include:

2 CREATURES
1 COMPANION
1 PLACE
1 TRAP
1 SURPRISE
1 EVENT
2 ITEMS
3 TREASURE ITEMS (These have very nifty abilities)

I won't go into detail about what the treasure items do, buy the supplement and find out

SUMMARY

This has been a smallish review but hey it's a smallish supplement I would recommend it to anyone who has the base set and wishes to add a twist to the basic gameplay without adding greatly to the level of complexity. I'm looking forward to further supplements for 'Treasures & Traps' which IMHO is one of the best family games to have been produced in the last couple of years.

regards
iain
