It certainly never reached my local retailer.

Does anyone know anything about the purported expansion for this game called The Chinatown Caper? I've done some digging on the web, and have found several refferences, and one person claiming to have seen/played it, but not much else. Does it exist? Does anyone have it?

Thread: Second Edition Components

I have both editions mixed together, and I want to seperate the components. Does anyone know which Lab documents are for the sencond edition; the handwritten ones or the typed ones? Also mugshot # 5,12,19,and 26 seem to be the same except for the fingerprints. The other 23 mugshots have either a number or a number + category. Any help seperating the the components would be great.

I noticed that there is a text file uploaded here as well which appears to contain some conflicting information, and some additional information. The following items are based on a review of errata contained in 1st and 2nd edition sets of Gumshoe:

1ST EDITION SET

On an errata slip:

Under Clue Point Entry for July 3, 1934, Continental Detective Agency
Clue should read Clue 23 in place of Clue 331.

On the back of the rules folder:

Clue Points Listing for July 7, 1934, Mark Hopkins Hotel...286. Under
July 9, 1934, 18 Mason...153.

Autopsy report - Aloysius Wade, July 7, 1934. Time 11:15 p.m. (The
report is available to the player on the morining of July 8.)

Autopsy report - Jackson De Young. Remarks: Time of death estimated to
be approximately 2:30-3:30 p.m., July 9.

2ND EDITION SET

These latter two items are also noted as errata in the second edition
rulebook so apparently the Autopsy Report booklet wasn't reprinted
between editions.
