No scan, but:

HEIMDALL RAISE HIGH HIS TRUMP AND BLOW(3009)
play this card just after RAGNOROK is drawn if you are playing good characters: you gain Heimdall(036) as a follower for RAGNOROK (This appies even if Heimdall in in HELHEIM or is removed from play but not if Heimdall is controlled by another player playing good characters)

I believe I am missing a Prediction card from my first edition set. The cards run from 3001-3028, but I do not have a 3009.

In the first edition the Norns are part of the 365 card set, so the rules state that the game is for 1-362 players. That's one crowded game table!

I had a first edition copy a while back but I don't recall if I made a detailed card list - I'll see if I can find anything.

However, having also owned a second edition copy, I don't recall any significant differences in the card sets. It is possible that the agility loss and action cards were not in the first edition and I am simply forgetting that, but I am pretty sure the character cards were the same. There should be 365 cards for characters you can play (hence the statement somewhere on the box that it's for 1-365 players), plus 3 for the Norns. If you don't have ANY Norns, then it might be reasonable to assume the first edition did not have cards for them.

There is a list of second edition cards posted here, but that information does not appear to correspond to the first edition.

My set has the following cards:
27 Prediction cards (missing one?)
35 Fate cards
91 Magic Item cards
44 Forged Item cards
34 Rune cards
16 Shape Change cards
2 sets of 8 Encounter cards
365 character cards

Update: My first edition set also has 15 Agility Loss cards (missed them because they are uncut on a cardstock sheet). I believe the prediction card I am missing is number 3009.

I do not have any Leader Action cards as noted in the second edition manifest.

Could someone please verify whether I should have any additional cards. Thanks!

Some of the colours are not very clearly different. I found it helped to label the backs of the cards with what they are. I got an ink stamp with interchangeable letter from a stationers to do this.

That's a tough one. I'll do the best I can from memory:

1 almost-legible map
1 rulebook
1 20-sided die
1 countersheet (somewhere around 120 counters, I think)
Some (not many) character record sheets
1 sheet of rules clarifications (I think)
8 large cards
Lots and lots of small cards - I think 368 character cards (they are numbered, so you can tell if you're missing any), plus a bunch of item and event cards, which I don't recall the quantities of. However, I think they're numbered as well.

I hope you can help I've just picked up a copy of "Hammer of Thor, the: The Game of Norse Mythology", but its missing a number of cards. Is there any chance you can scan the text on the card so I can make up some replacements on the spare cards.

I have played this game.

(There must've been at least two editions of this game as mine has a completely different board to the one that appears on the geek, although the box and cards (thin) appear to be the same!!!)

Unfortunately, the multiplayer game is basically unplayable. There is no reason to move anywhere and one just shuffles aimlessly around the spaces that are likely to get you magic or spells. The sad thing is that the combat/encounter mechanism at the heart of the game is excellent and I also like the "random" end.

The solo game where you play Thor does work however.

I even tried making my own cards to "fix" the game, but it still doesn't quite gell. A pity.

The frightening thing is that the board has spaces to allow you to move to other mythologies (I think Roman and/or Greek was mentioned). Obviously games that didn't quite make the light of day. :0

An interesting game, but somebody should scan the game-board, which is probably the most incomprehensible and ugly game-board ever devised in the history of board gaming (a good theme for a list, by the way!). Has everybody ever really played this game? I tried once, but gave up on the fiddly counters and badly printed cards, although I really liked the rules!
