Ncik wrote:

For example, if someone rolls a 2 (lose total investment), I can't imagine how you can move the dice onto the next person and suddenly make a profit when the last person's roll said all your money was gone.

Well, in the real world, you can buy a stock that at one time may sink to zero in value, but if you hold it, it can recover. In this game , you can "hold" till you run out of other Players to roll the dice.

My reading is, it's the *last* roll that determines the payback on the initial outlay. Of course, you can accept any roll as the last if you haven't yet gone right around everybody ...

Reading the rules I have here, this is one of the few points that's rather ambiguous. Nowhere in the rules does it say that subsequent rolls of the dice have cummulative effects, but I can't imagine why that would be the case.

For example, if someone rolls a 2 (lose total investment), I can't imagine how you can move the dice onto the next person and suddenly make a profit when the last person's roll said all your money was gone.

Despite the vagueness in the rules, I personally think the rolls have to take effect one after another, not just going with the last effect rolled.

Thread: ratrace board game stock exchange

How do you increase your money. When someone rolls anything about the 7 on the dice, which is par, does a roll of 10 double your money that you now continue to the next player's roll where you have the option of accepting it or not? Or does the initial investment get taken to the next player's roll in the event that you turned down the first player's roll? In order for the second person to my left to roll the dice for me, do I have to first turn down any profit from the first roll by rejecting that roll?
