Thread: Re: Overruns

Sorry Skip, but in this case Toby is right. During any movement phase, units are moved individually and NEVER as stacks. This game requires careful planning and forethought.

Thread: Re: Overruns

The rule that I think determines this is rule 1.5a:

"Units can never move as stacks, all units must move individually, and a unit must finish its movement for the phase before a player can move other units".

Since overruns are a function of the movement phase, this rule says to me that overruns can only be carried out by one unit at a time.

Series Rules
3.0 Movement
Procedure:
The phasing player moves units individually or as stacks...

Game Rules
1.17 Special Overrun Effects
I see nothing mentioning that you could not move a stack during movement or that you had to move the units individually.

So in essence, not that is not right.

Thread: Overruns

The way I read the exclusive rules for Ardennes, the fact that every unit has to move independently means that overruns can only ever be conducted by one unit, never by a stack. Is this right?
