Thread: TV rules for the Winner's Circle

The rules included in my version of this game are very lenient on what clues are allowed when playing the Winner's Circle. I prefer the way they play on TV: prepositional phrases are not allowed, direct synonyms to a clue keyword are not allowed, overly long clues are not allowed, and you can't use your hands to make gestures. If you do any of these things, that particular clue 'box' is disqualified and you have no hope of getting the grand prize, though you may keep playing to see how many other 'boxes' you get.

So if a box subject was "Things associated with a car."

You could give clues like: a steering wheel . . . a rest stop . . . a hit-n-run . . .

But not clues like: it's not a horseless carriage but a . . . and it's not 'objects' that are 'related' to it, but 'blanks' that are 'blanks' to it . . . try to think of something on the highway or that sits in a garage . . .
