Thread: A session report for a 3-players game
Last saturday (2008-05-10) JavyP, LuisE and me (RaulL) meeting in a 'shortage of players session' ( we hopped 5 players, but we were only 3 :( )

But this was not an obstacle to have a good evening of games...

We tried a Princes of Florence game, in standard variant (without put together the indivuals boards).

I didn't make any 'work-art' until turn 3, this bring me at last position on the score; but this was because I was trying a new strategy: I was getting resources (arquitects, green spaces, bonus cards, more artits...) to make very valuables work-art (but only 4 of them).

In other hand JavyP used other strategic: he tried to make lots of work-arts, giving him too money that he converted in VP (I remember 6 artist working and 1 recluitment for him).

I am not sure about LuisE overall strategic.

In general, all actions were cheap; unless 2 or 3 of them, in which I was involved: an architec and one jester. This is a interesting factor when only play 3 players: you always can get something good for you at a good price; while in a 5 players game you will get what others players don't want (unless you bid very hight).

The final score were very close: LuisE 58, JavyP 56 and me 55. The key to win for LuisE was a 'prestige' card what gave LuisE 5 VP.
