Thread: Pre-constructed decks?

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone here knows where one might find a list of pre-constructed decks for all the species? I recently purchased a whole bunch of cards and thought it would be nice to construct all the decks in advance.

Thread: Where to find some starters?

Hey folks.
I have a load of marine cards, but I'd like to get 'at least' one of each starter so I can introduce the game to new people. The last time I saw a starter for this was a few months ago at a FLGS, but it's no longer there.
Anyone know where to get these?

Many thanks.

Thread: User Review

Alien vs. Predator...this CCG gives players the opportunity to play not only as the titular races, but as the generally outclassed Collonial Space Marines as well. each player controls a core team based on his or her faction, & plays locations from the deck.

An interesting thing about the location basis for the game is that as each player put locations into play, they are unique to that player, unless another player has the identical location in play. This means that players each begin by searching through a section of the ship/space station that is exclusive to them. However, once 2 or more identical locations are played, the real fun begins.

Once the locations become linked to a hub, the Aliens swiftly move out to capture as many warm bodies to incubate their young in as possible. And the Predators camoflage themselves to hunt for the most fearsome game in the galaxy. And those colonial Marines get to work doing their best to bail out all the innocent civilians that they can find.

Each faction has it's own upgrades, including strange hybrid aliens, powerful Predator weapons, & hardcore Marine firepower. These cards must often be found by searching locations, or returning to your base to refresh your supplies, & can be in limited supply.

Overall, the mechanics are easy enough to learn, but complex enough to allow for some great gameplay, & some fairly well-planned deck construction, with focus on allies, locations, & equipment standing alongside combat altering cards, & defensive card selection. The game can give a good feeling of the action-packed films it is based on, as well as being an action-packed play in & of itself.

A good CCG, if somewhat overlooked in the glut of CCGs that appeared on teh market around the same time as Aliens vs. Predator.
