This game was mentioned in Jim Van Verth's excellent podcast 'The Vintage Gamer' - Halloween Show (well worth a listen). On his website he posted details of a company that still sells NEW copies.

http://www.orphyte.com/

Chill: Black Morn Manor sells for $50.

Also a German version was re-released in 2007 - I tried emailing Mayfair Games to see whether they'd be printing an English Language version anytime soon but unfortunately received no reply. You could try your own enquiries...if you do hear anything please share.:)

Thanks to all for your prompt replies!

Cedric,

True; I like most of the games I have (or my fiancée does) so while I would consider trading most of them for the right deal, I don't have them "on the block" all the time because I'm not necessarily looking to part with them. :)

Thanks for your input on the game too. He does have Betrayal, as well as Arkham. I've got it narrowed down to either this or Last Night on Earth (he's also a big fan of all things zombie).

My cards are packed away at the moment (waiting for house closing...fun...) but I'll send you the list once I get access (probably a few weeks). His birthday isn't for a few months yet; I'm just trying to plan ahead. Thank you!

Jeremy,

I only saw 3 games on your trade list, so you'll want to add more. IMO, if your friend has Betrayal, Chill's not going to be *that* much better. Unfortunately, beyond Arkham Horror or the Call of Cthluhu RPG, no other "haunting" game comes to mind.

I do have a copy of Chill, so you can PM me your list of Antiquities Rares and Legend Rares / Uncommons, if you're interested!

aka. Washu! ^O^

It's way out of print, so it won't be easy. On this site, there's 20 people trading copies, so you might want to look into that. Also, maybe you can make an offer to someone on the site who owns a copy. Couldn't hurt.

Thread: How to buy?

A friend of mine LOVES Betrayal at House on the Hill and I think this would be a great present for him. There are a few things I was wondering about:

1) Where would someone in the US be able to find a (preferably new) copy of this? Nothing in the Marketplace, boardgameprices.com, Google Products or eBay. I haven't checked my FLGS yet, but it sounds fairly OOP from what I've read on these boards.

2) This may be a non-issue because I've been having a hard time finding it, but which edition is "best" and why?

Thanks in advance for your help!
