This is a great game: a fun challenge with just the right amount of tactical detail, plus a very colorful period of history that doesn't get the amount of gaming attention it deserves. Well done, Ben.

Thanks, Mark Simonitch did a great job of using color. Knut Gruenitz did much of the map design and layout and Mark Siomonitch took those prototypes to produce the ones for the game.

I´ll probable pre-order this one. I´m very happy to see actual Swedish and German names in this one and in Sweden Fights on. Hint: you could also use this system for the wars between Sweden and Denmark in the 2nd half of the 17th century...

I am looking a doing several Post-Thirty Years War battles involving the Swedes. I have info on Warsaw (1656), Fehrbellin and Lund. The next volume after Gustav Adolf will be the Dutch War period 1674-1678.
