Dave Trampier (DAT) was a huge artistic influence to many of us who were part of the first generation of D&D kids (small box editions were fairly adult oriented)as he was one of the only truly talented artists that provided art for the early D&D books. He did some art for boardgames as well as Wormy of course. If anyone can add to this list, please do.

This game was influenced by Titan, which Trampier designed. The counter art shows DAT in his cartoonish. wormy-like style.

This was actually designed by DAT as well as the board and counter artwork. Rarely have I seen counter art have so much soul. Yes the army banner counter designs are a little on the strange side for a fantasy game.

Divine Right is a masterpiece of board and counter art. So much soul and flavor in such small spaces. I have no idea if the cover art (the original ghost cavalry attack) was done by DAT, however. I saved for months to get the 12$ to buy this game at age 12 just because of the artwork.

I believe Trampier did the component artwork (I don't know about the box) for the English-language editions of this game (the later German-language editions from Pegasus have artwork by Doris Matthäus). It's fitting, since Kings & Things is a development of King of the Tabletop, and both these games seem to have been influenced by Titan.
