Saved for printing so that I can print it out for the con. Any additions you will need to correct the sheet I will post at the con.

I am looking to bring a few games to the con which I think lots people are going to be interested in playing. I would like to start a list of the people interested in each game so that I know to look for them when we play.

Please note that at the BGG.CON there will be open gaming. Find a few friends, pick a game, and play it. No real schedules. No hassle. Just have fun! I will be one of many available to help teach games (a "Gamexpainer" as Derk calls it). If you are looking for someone to introduce you to a game, contact me or one of the others to get an introduction to the game.

However, some games are sufficiently unusual, or long, or of significant interest that some people will not want to miss out on them. This list is for those people.

If you are bringing a game which is likely to be a game wanting people to sign up so they do not miss it, feel free to add it to the list. Please do NOT add games that are likely to be easy to pick up. If you post it, you are committing to make sure it is there (i.e. bringing it). The person bringing the game is marked with a *.

Warning: Once I get your sign up comment edited into the game entry, I will DELETE your comment to keep it neat so that I can print the list to bring with me.

I am putting some tenative dates and times for these, but they could be changed if those interested want to, and I plan to run them several times if people are interested.

Notice: I will post a final copy of this list at the con. If you are signed up for a game, please check that posting for changes in times. As each person plays a game, we should try to give priority to those who have not had a chance for later plays of that game.

I cannot edit added items, so I had to create a new geeklist for page 2. Add new games to that list.
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist.php3?action=view&listi...

P.S. I know we will be playing Werewolf all night. I plan to bring my Werewolves of Millers Hollow set, which I have added a bunch more roles (which will be used sparingly) and laminated the set with new keyguides. (OK, OK. I am a photoshop junkie.) If you are interested in this, see the article:
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/81362
Werewolf Requests: Alan Ray (Luthien), d turner (dturnerfish)

See also, this article by John Rodriguez for more game sign ups. It appears to be more on war games, I think.

Tales of the Arabian Nights - This is the 1997 German edition with the expanded Book of Tales and color cards. Patrick Korner did the original English translation of the cards and map with Eric Goldberg's English Book of Tales. I did extensive additional graphics work. I completely redid all the cards, map overlays, etc. and am quite proud of it. It has gone over very well in our Colorado game groups. Limit 6 player per game. 4 is better.

Suggested time: Friday, Nov 4, 9 am - 12 noon
Possible 2nd : Sunday afternoon? Flight 6:30 pm.

Requested so far:
* Sterling Babcock (sbabcock) (Bringing game)
+ Chad Krizan (chaddyboy_2000) (Prefers Standard, not Merchant, Storytelling longer)
+ Jasen Robillard (Baldboy_1)
+ Ben Vincent (SabreRedleg)
+ Scott Reed (skelebone) (Can play at home)
+ John Snyder (CapAp) (Wanted to play for so long!)
+ Peter Drayton (pdrayton) (Q: Standard, Storytelling, Merchant, or Adventure? A: Standard to start. Possibly Storytelling)

Well, we will probably be starting with the standard version. I would love to get in a game of the Storytelling version at some point!

I have not done the merchant or adventure version. I wish there was more time! I want to play them all!

Peter, did you want to be signed up?

Roads and Boats - This is one of my favorites. I will teach the rules, and help players become acquainted with the game in the first few turns. I would like to limit each game to 4 players to be managable, but I can run it a couple of times.

Suggested 2nd : Saturday, Nov 5, 2 pm - 7 pm (Finish in time for poker.)

You might try the "Prism Games" variant (linked from the McMulti page on BGG), which reduces the wild variability of economic changes. I've only played with the variant, so I can't directly compare it to the original game, but my impression is that the economic system in the standard rules can be a little too random.

7 AGES - I have all the player aides printed in color in binders with extra tokens and full-sized cards (with original artwork) for all artefacts, religions, etc.

I have taught this game at 4 cons now and this time would like to play it with EXPERIENCED PLAYERS ONLY. Like to do a four player game (as anymore than that can be just too much, so to be fair, the first three people to e-mail or post here (I will check timestamp) will be included in on the game. Friday afternoon and night look relatively open so far, so I'm going to slot this in at 3pm on Friday...we could change this if we all agree....I plan to play for at least 9 hours until midnight so don't join unless you are an EXPERIENCED PLAYER of this game and can dedicate that much time to this wonderful game.

Hazienda - I can bring and teach this. Just released at Essen 2005. 5 people to play is preferred - takes about 15 minutes to teach, 1 1/2 hrs to play.
It's a choice game, 3 actions per turn, choose to expand your hazienda, herds, build lakes, buy a card etc. Goal is victory points, assessed twice a game (like Alhambra). The choices feel a lot like St. Petersburg (but cards to play is the shortage instead of money). Tons of Different strategy - i.e. definitely more than 1 way to win

Indonesia - I don't think this will be played prior to bgg.con (what with all the Caylus fuss, and my inability to concentrate on anything else at the moment), but it seems this would be a great game for the con. I'll bring my copy.

Suggested time: Will schedule to group

Requested so far:
* Ted Alspach (toulouse) (Will bring)
+ Chris Brooks (CaptainCaveman) (Will read rules, Fri evening prefered, not Sat 10:30-2, Sunriver games.)
+ Jeffrey Wauer (jaywowzer)
+ Maria Wauer (jaywowzer)
+ Smee Mew (SatanicEssence) (Make sure find him)
+ Thomas Powell (Lingster2005)
+ Blue Guldal (bluepigeon)
+ Zuli (zdejesus)
+ Jared Heath (jaredh)
+ Tom "Snicker Daddy" Pancoast (tpancoast) (Cannot promise to be able to play this long game)
+ Jeff Lee (Eurocle)

23. Board Game: Twilight Imperium (third edition) [Average Rating:7.82 Overall Rank:26]

Twilight Imperium - I'd like to get a game in sometime probably starting on Saturday at noon. Looking for experienced players. Will play with change to Imperial Card that my group has playtested. The rules are changed so that you can only claim one victory condition in TOTAL (Public and Secret) at the end of the turn. The Imperial Card allows you to immediatly claim one victory condition that you have fulfilled. This makes the card valuable under certain circumstances (like the rest of the cards) and not an automatic draw. Prefer a group of six if possible.

Suggested time: Will schedule to group

Requested so far:
* Jon Murdock (XenoMaster) (Will bring)
+ Raymond J Dennis Jr (FuzzySilk) (Read Rules)
+ Smee Mew (SatanicEssence) (Experienced)
+ Matthew M. Monin (Octavian) (Played once)
+ Seth Jaffee (sedjtroll) (Maybe, not at top of list. Fri afternoon? Sat evening?)
+ Troy Adlington (Troymk1) (Count in if need 6th.)

Blue Moon - constructed deck tournament. The purpose of this would be for owners of the game to play many many other Blue Moon fans in one block of time. I'm imagining playing with Inquisitor enhanced constructed decks. Any player brining a 30 card deck will be assumed to include the Inquisitor 'Swift Fist' (+0 cards, +0 moons, attract one dragon at the start of the game).

Suggested time: Tournament 3 hour block Fri noon - 3 pm

Requested so far: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/81477
* Matthew M. Monin (Octavian) (Bringing 2 sets, happy to teach, can lend)
+ Jeff DeBoardGamer (nishikawa-collector)
+ Ava Jarvis (BilboAtBagEnd)
+ Jeff Coon (Jeff) (never played)
+ Troy Adlington (Troymk1) (7 Ages at 3 pm)
+ d turner the 97th (dturnerfish)
+ Yehuda Berlinger (Shade_Jon) (Does not own cards)
+ Ed Bryan (Edbryan) (Will bring)

OK, just a note to everyone going to BGG.CON: Please have a very good time. Now, I really mean that, but I do have an ulterior motive.

My wife and I have already spent our birthday, Christmas, and vacation funds to go see U2 in December. She said, and I quote, "You HAVE to go next year. I insist." So, I have to make sure there is a NEXT year.

"Look into my eye." goo "You will have fun playing these games, and you will want to go again next year."

I just posted a bunch of stuff on part 2 list. Reason for posting the stuff so late, is the boxes of games I bought at Essen just now arrived today.
Please indicate interest by signing up by tomorrow evening, so I know what to pack. I'm flying in, so have room for just one trunk of games (2 of us coming)

What, no Archeology one (Jens-something von something or other)?... Ok, I'll look it up...

Jenseits von Theben, that's the one I mean. Did you say yuou got that too? I'd be interested in that one more than the other Essen stuff...

I did get the Jens (archaeology) game. I was going to bring in, but wasn't sure I actually wanted to play it or just try to trade it during the flea market.
