This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty, but as always, add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Thrift Store/Bargain Finds List Wayback Machine: The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly lists through time. He is also adding stats and interesting tidbits for us thrifty geeks. Your Thrift Store Bargain Finds Through Time (with links to all previous lists)
Our GeekGuild: Welcome to The Ancient and Loyal Order of Thrifters. Enter the halls of thriftdom at your own risk. Please do mind the stacks of prized games, do not mention the musty smell and try not to sneeze. Make sure to bow before our King Belial I, and pay your due respects to previous Kings Great_Mazinga, minionhunter, Krazygit, EvilTimmy and Blackwind.

Stopped by Arc on the way home from the doctor's office at my wife's suggestion. I was puking my guts out from bad POM juice (yuck, it was so bad I was puking 7 minutes after I drank it). I have to yell at Costco and get my money back. Bacterial fermentation. Still feel sick from it.
Moving on to another town, found a game I've been looking for for quite a while. Bandu, 75 cents at a different Catholic Charities. Unfortunately missing the 30 bidding beans and 2 pieces which I will go through and figure out in a few minutes.
And at my last stop, came away with this one for $2 at Salvation Army. I have a big group of gaming friends who love sports, and I was at this Salvation Army 6 months ago and this game was $4.50. Now that it is $2 I will take it. Pretty much like new inside.
