This list should collect all games that have space in a house's forniture. Beauty is the only criteria by which the games are selected here! :-) These games can be put in your house's best room, out of their boxes, without shame, getting attention even by not gamers just for their beauty! Games that are not just made of colorful plastic but of nice materials, are small enough to fit everywhere (because generally they don't have a cartoon board) and have no sparse pieces like dice or cards! 8-)
Please add whatever you like! Unfortauntely I couldn't add a large number of beautiful puzzles, solitaires and sports games like billiards and darts: consider them as if they were in the list.

Yes! Mancala was the first game I thought of when reading the list subject!

I have, not by accident, a mancala on my "bookshelf - night table" (long story). Hell, it can even impress your girl when she first sees that so intelectual looking object!

First I excluded this game being too large to be used just as knickknack, but I must admit that its beauty is second to none (or to few) and if you find a space where to put it, you should do it if you are a real gamer!

Whilst in Venice (many years ago) I saw 2 set variants that blew my mind - both to look at and the price! Board size was around 4x4 standard bathroom tiles; set into a wood briefcase format.

The pieces were 2-3 inches high and Blue vs Brown trench-coat wearing "spies" or Blue vs Yellow sail-boats.
