An exhaustive 5 minute search of BGG has failed to find a geek list on this topic so I get to create it.
The general idea is a list of historical games that actually depict Australian units. Having Australia on the map is obviously a bonus.
I'm starting with the games that I actually own and hope that others will add games that I don't know about.

The Crete game includes the Australian troops defending the island.
I think the historical account goes something like: the Germans dropped in, the allies had an opportunity to take the initiative but the hesitant New Zealand command stuffed it up and the courageous Australians had to surrender.
NOTE: I have nothing against New Zealand or New Zealanders! I am more than happy to claim any New Zealand success as an Australian success.

I have ordered this and should receive it any day now.
This is one of those sacred nation defining battles that has been growing in importance in Australian culture.
It's rememberance also provides for young Australians to travel to a foreign battleground (which just happens to be a beach), drink lots of beer and sing a song that seems to be about an American battle in Vietnam.
It just happens that the blame for this misadventure can put at the feet of the British command. I have a feeling a sub-theme may develop through this geeklist.

Although not mentioned in the rules, two of the ships of the USN force were Australian cruisers.
The map also includes part of the north Australian east coast.

A recent addition to my collection. My first Battles Magazine issue.
A great title on an interesting topic featuring Australian troops. I haven't played the game but I've downloaded the Vassal module and pushed the counters around.

This is one of the first games I received when I had a S&T subscription and I remember it was a very popular title at the time.
The counters identify the Australian units.
I'm guessing many of the huge number of North Africa games would identify the Australians.

The Europa series game that covers the balkans including Crete.
My early boxed edition only refers to Commonwealth units in the rules and counters but there is one chart in the rules that refers to an Australian unit rather than Commonwealth.
