Wanted: Computer versions of board games (preferably free). Mac OS X compatible, please. Thanks.

I love games in general (video, board, and otherwise), but it is sometimes difficult to round up enough players willing to spend the time to learn a new game, or even worse they are flat-out disinterested in playing a particular game title. This is why I would like you to help me (and all our geeks) to find great resources of computer versions of board games. I have found a couple of good ones, but I have not been able to track down nearly the selection of games that I wish I could.
Could you please help!!! By the way, could you direct us poor Mac users to compatible versions as well.
Thanks to you all,
Danny

A very decent version of San Juan. Computer opponents are tough to beat.

There is a Java version of Coloretto that I've been playing regularly under OS X. There are some cosmetic glitches when played under Safari, but these don't detract from the game. The AI's could be better--I think they're too eager to take the "2" bonus cards and, in general take too few cards. I trash the AI's regularly.

Your best option is BrettSpielWelt ( http://www.brettspielwelt.info/) where you can play this and MANY other games such as Puerto Rico, Princes of Florence, Ra, Settlers of Catan, San Juan, St Petersburg, Citadels, Tichu etc etc...
Works very well on mac except for the small bug where choosing quit from the menu hangs the program. Close the window to quit.

Magic Realm-Robin Warren's RealmSpeak available at:
http://magicrealm.dewkid.com/rspeak/realmspeak.htm
runs on Java 1.4.2 or 1.5 and about 3/4 complete (e.g. combat, natives, etc. are complete, but not all spells implemented). Still, an *excellent* adaptation that has the support of the MR on-line community in testing and vetting rules implementations
