I'm glad folks are still enjoying this photo. Misty was just over a year old at the time and lived another 17 years. I still recall the time my wife took this photo, which was before our first child was born.

I do love this picture. I think I like the TV stand in the background as much as the kitty. We had a stand like that....

I think we had the same TV and the same stand. It was wonderfull that your cat lived so long (our 9 month old kitten died Saturday of a congential heart/lung disease).

Me, too. And, we knew the channel and time for every show on TV between 6:00pm and 10:00pm, every night of the week. Gads, I'd hate to go back to those days. I'm a constant cable channel surfer these days....

We feed him special diabetic cat food. It's VERY expensive but it keeps his blood sugar under control.

Ouch! Diabetes in cats is not good.

Nice that my Attack! cat Sugar is still getting some mileage here...

My first and only cat's name was Sugar, too! She lived to be about 16. I miss that furball.

My wife is definately NOT a cat (or dog or hampster...etc) person, and she puts her foot down. The kids are practically begging for a cat, but I have to put up a united front so that she's not the bad guy (but she is....)

There's a classic cat position, curled up in any open box. My latest kitty was even seen curled up in the garbage can, on top of the garbage. They're such loungers. Meow!

That's my boy Booker. He's a spastic cat. In my avatar is his littermate Kehsef and their "sister" Astra. I like to say he takes a "bite out of Life".

Yes, it's my cat - I got the wrong title when I uploaded it. This cat sits in any game box, she's even tried Boomtown and Lost Cities. Our Puerto Rico lid is broken at the corners and covered in muddy footprints.
