This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty, but as always, add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

Our GeekGuild: Welcome to The Ancient and Loyal Order of Thrifters. Enter the halls of thriftdom at your own risk. Please do mind the stacks of prized games, do not mention the musty smell and try not to sneeze. Make sure to bow before our King Hakfoo I, and pay your due respects to previous Kings Belial, Great_Mazinga, minionhunter, Krazygit, EvilTimmy and Blackwind.

It's been a while since I had anything worth posting. A couple Scrabble sets(), a Yahtzee Jr. here and there (), and a pile of games that turned out to be so incomplete as to be not worth listing. But I finally found something worth mentioning.
I found this at the Coldwater (MI) Goodwill on Friday, and it cost me the princely sum of $2.99. Whoever previously owned it was kind enough to bag up the tokens (and a few of their own hairs, bleah) but unkind enough to "fix" a separated token with Scotch tape rather than a dab of white glue. And of course it's a token you draw from a cup and play face-down, so everyone knows when you play it.
We played this on Sunday. We missed a rule that led to an early lead and a runaway leader problem for one player, but overall we all enjoyed it. It may have gone on just a little too long, but that's something that's more or less adjustable and will get better with more plays anyway. All in all, definitely worth the three bucks.
Saw this at a shelf at a thriftstore, didnt know anything about it, but the description on the back sounded good enough.... as for the rating im kinda dont know about this one.... but it was only 1 euro.

Subbuteo Dream Team Stadium! Oo-la-la! I love Subbuteo, so this was a no-brainer for me. Similar to the one pictured, but it's the English version (not the Dutch). Complete, lovely, and $3.99 at Value Village. Looks never-played.
Edit: This set includes Pirlo, Cafu & Costacurta from AC Milan; Henry, Lehmann & Gilberto from Arsenal; Carvalho, Parker & Gallas from Chelsea; Stankovic, Zanetti & Cruz from Inter Milan; Ibrahimovic, Emerson & Cannavaro from Juventus; Gerrard, Garcia & Riise from Liverpool; Rooney, Giggs & Ferdinand from Manchester United; Corradi, Canizares & Vicente from Valencia.
