This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

Stopped in at Goodwill today to look for some shorts for me and cookware for my son for his apartment at school next year. Found 3 pairs in my size and a Revere Ware stock pot like the one from the set I have. I've already found him the matching frying pan. I can replace the lid at the Corning Ware outlet store.
Headed towards the back to look for games. Passed on an Educational Insights version of Blokus as I didn't have time to inventory. It was so hard to put it back on the shelf, but at $3.99 I couldn't bring myself to take a chance on it (already have a copy on it)
There were a couple of other games I bypassed, but I'm running on 3 hours sleep and the mind is a bit fuzzy (probably why I left Blokus behind)
I did see this, sans box, for $2.99. The dice and instructions are inside the cup in the drawstring bag. Dice I don't usually leave behind.
By the way Julie, there is a travel version of Scrabble - the one in the hard plastic case with the wood tiles (not inventoried) - at St. Vincent. I only had $20 on me when I stopped by and bought a pair of brass camed lead glass sidelights that were $19 for the pair. Not sure I'll be able to get back there on Monday if you're interested.
But the reason I went to the yard sale... Surprised to see it still there since the sale had been going on for a while. Also was $5! Not quite as thrifty as the one I picked up last week at a thrift store, but still a definite grab!
My wife needed to get some stuff at a local homeschool store. I waited in the car with the kids, but like any bored kid in the car would do, my 3 year old announced she had to go potty. So into the store we go. I perused their game shelf, and found a Settlers of Catan for $21 which was too much for me (especially since I have a few copies already). I did however see the Kosmos version of Tally Ho! which I've been playing on yucata.de and have been wanting to add to my collection of Kosmos 2 player games. It was $5 and was 30% off, so $3.50...
Unfortunately it was missing one of the bear tiles, so if anyone out there has a spare, I'd be appreciative! And yes, I'll be heading to the spare parts list with this request as well.
$1.00 SA El Cajon. Actually it was on sale for $0.70 but i didn't have any cash on me and they had to charge me a min of a dollar to use a credit card. Box is split in most of the corners. missing one green supply depot access card and the instructions (which are on Hasbro's site) The command center had some leaking batteries in it but with new ones it works like a charm.
EDIT: Turns out that the green card fell out in my car and i found it this morning going to work.
$4.00 Vets Thrift Chula Vista. Only missing one of the green plastic clips and rubber band. Everything else is in great working order including an unbroken chandelier. That is until I tried to clip the floor to the stair case and I stupidly broke the peg off. Hopefully some super glue will fix it right up.
