This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty, but as always, add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

Also found this one for $1.98. My son actually decided he wanted this one so he snatched it up. It is complete and all the bits are still in shrink. Don't worry, he just wanted it for the rings, not to actually play.
We were already planning to go to the GW anyway when I knocked our water-filter pitcher over and cracked it. Bummer. Well, after mopping the kitchen floor, we headed over to the Powell GW. There, I found the exact same model pitcher. On another aisle, I found a sealed filter. Yay! I also found this dexterity game. I had time to add it to the db before heading off to work this evening. for adding it, plus more when I get pics and maybe a video added. Complete for $1.50.
I had a chance to stop at the GW on the way home from work yesterday and found a couple of nice games.
First was this deluxe version of Pit. The box had been taped shut, but my trusty pocket-knife took care of that. Looking inside, I found the instructions, a nice new bell, and the deck of cards still sealed in plastic! There was also a small empty bag with a hole torn in it, but I can't figure out what might have been in there. Any ideas?
I also found this edition of Pictureka. I found the card version of this a couple of weeks ago, and the picture cube version a little while before that. My son loves these picture search games, so I'm sure it will be a hit.
I haven't counted all the cards yet, but everything seems to be there.
$1.99 at GW
The curious thing was that two aisles over from where I found this nicely cared-for game, was another copy of the same thing. The only difference is that this one was still in shrink, and it had the word "salvage" written across it in marker. Well, that and the box looked like it had literally been run over by a truck. It was smashed so badly I think the shrink wrap was the only thing holding it together.
